Description: A Palestinian man reading the Koran as other men pray alongside him in Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron. The Mosque is named after the prophet Ibrahim, or Abraham, who many people believe is buried alongside his family on this site. On February 25th 1994, Baruch Goldstein, a US born doctor who emigrated to Israel in the 1980's, walked into the mosque during prayer and openned fire on Palestinian worshippers. Goldstein killed 29 Palestinians and injured over 125 during the massacre.Goldstein lived in the Kiryat Arba zionist settlement in Hebron and was a member of the extremist Kach movement.rnrn
